This ongoing art series aims to honour everyone who does their part to keep each other safe. The intent is to highlight the simplest form of limiting community spread, to boost morale and also give back to affected communities. Proceeds from purchases go back to the project as well as donations toward COVID 19 Relief funds, both internationally and in the United States.
The wearing of a mask has been proven to reduce the spread of the virus known as COVID 19. As the virus is still contagious during periods without symptoms and even for those who show no signs, a simple wearing of a mask during high exposure periods to the public or in enclosed spaces reduces unknown spread. A mask is only one of many combined efforts the public and communities can do to flatten the curve.
You can learn from the CDC about mask wearing here.
