Blue Ridge is painted on location, en plein air in a single session known as alla prima. It is a nice 12 x 24in acrylic on cotton canvas. Painted with GOLDEN artist colors, this beautiful mountain range was devoured by the artist eye for a full day. The blue mist is why this area is called the Blue Ridge Mountains.
